The communication method comprises the steps: an LTE base station receiving first resource scheduling information sent by a PDT base station, the first resource scheduling information being used for indicating that the PDT base station occupies a time-frequency resource of a shared frequency band, the shared frequency band being a frequency band shared by the LTE base station and the PDT base station. The LTE base station determines the time-frequency resource of the shared frequency band which can be occupied by the LTE base station according to the first resource scheduling information, and performs LAA cell scheduling on the time-frequency resource of the shared frequency band which can be occupied by the LTE base station. According to the method, dynamic sharing of spectrum resources of the LTE base station and the PDT base station is realized, and the utilization rate of the spectrum resources is improved.
