Abstract

The invention discloses a space-time shift keying (STSK) method based on code index modulation (CIM). According to the scheme, a bit stream is divided into three parts: selection of a dispersion matrix, selection of a modulation symbol and selection of a spreading code. Therefore, besides the traditional constellation symbols are transmitted, the information bits are also mapped to the Hadamard code and the dispersion matrix index, and the transmission efficiency of the scheme is improved. In addition, a mathematical expression of the bit error rate of the CIM-STSK system is deduced in detail, and the bit error rate performance of the scheme is analyzed.
