Abstract

A switching node may receive a first hardware device identifier sent by a hardware device and a second hardware device identifier sent by a manager node. The switching node may determine whether the first hardware device identifier and the second hardware device identifier match, and send contact information for the manager node to the hardware device as a result of determining that the first hardware device identifier and the second hardware device identifier match. A manager node may receive a hardware device identifier identifying a hardware device, send the hardware device identifier to a switching node, and send contact information for the manager node to the switching node. The contact information may include a port number of the manager node that is different from a port number used to communicate with the switching node. A manager node may receive a request to establish a communication session between a hardware device and the manager node.
