Problems solved by technology

In this way, when multiple cells use the SCCPCH channels transmitted by omnidirectional antennas to carry out continuous coverage of MBMS services, it will cause serious co-channel interference between cells, so that the quality of service cannot be guaranteed

Embodiment Construction

[0016] In order to solve the problem of co-channel interference between cells during co-frequency networking, three methods can be adopted: one is to use multi-cell joint detection on the UE side to eliminate co-channel interference; the other is to use some networking strategies to avoid co-channel interference. The first method will undoubtedly sharply increase the complexity of the terminal, and its actual effect depends on the capabilities of the UE. The second method is to sacrifice part of the system capacity in exchange for avoidance of co-channel interference in the time, space or frequency domain. The third is to change the existing transmission mode of the system in terms of system-side service transmission, so that when the signals of multiple cells in the same frequency network reach the user equipment (UE), they are no longer interference, but useful signals. The present invention is a networking method based on the third service transmission mode.

Abstract

The invention relates to a same frequency networking method providing multimedia broadcast and multicast services. The same frequency networking method comprises the steps of: (a) dividing cells in continuously overlay areas into multicast group areas or broadcast area; (b) selecting frequency and timeslot bearing the multimedia broadcast and multicast services MBMS for the cells in the multicast group areas or the broadcast areas, while the frequency and the timeslot of the cells in the same multicast group areas or the same broadcast area are the same; (c) distributing MBMS service scrambling codes for the multicast group areas or the broadcast areas, and different MBMS service scrambling codes are used in different multicast group areas or different broadcast areas, while the same MBMS service scrambling codes are used in the same multicast group areas or the same broadcast areas; (d) the MBMS services are transmitted by each cell on the frequency and the timeslots selected in step (b) by using the MBMS service scrambling codes of the multicast group areas or the broadcast areas of the cells.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a wireless communication system, in particular to a networking method for providing Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service (MBMS: Multimedia Broadcast / Multicast Service) in a cell in a Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) system. Background technique [0002] At present, with the commercialization of the third-generation mobile communication system, the mobile TV service (Mobile TV) has been paid more and more attention by operators. In TD-SCDMA system, adopting MBMS to bear the weight of TV business has also become an urgent need. [0003] There are some problems in providing MBMS service in TD-SCDMA system. The point-to-multipoint traffic channel (MTCH) in the MBMS point-to-multipoint (PTM) mode is mapped to the forward access channel (FACH) and finally carried on the supplementary common control physical channel (SCCPCH). The physical channel SCCPCH is transmitted using an omnidirectional ...
