The invention provides a mobile phone energy-conservation method which comprises the following steps: a standard brightness scope of the environment is set, and the set standard brightness scope of the environment comprises a minimum value and a maximum value; a camera is turned on; environmental brightness is measured by the camera; whether the measured environmental brightness is smaller than the minimum value of the standard brightness scope of the environment is determined; when the measured environmental brightness is smaller than the minimum value of the standard brightness scope of the environment, the keyboard light is turned on and the brightness of the liquid crystal module is reduced; when the measured environmental brightness is not smaller than the minimum value of the standard brightness scope of the environment, the keyboard light is turned off; whether the measured environmental brightness is larger than the maximum value of the standard brightness scope of the environment is determined; and when the measured environmental brightness is larger than the maximum value of the standard brightness scope of the environment, the brightness of the liquid crystal module is increased.
