Problems solved by technology

However, in the above-mentioned literature, more complex algorithms are used to achieve high accuracy, which is always contradictory to the real-time processing required. Therefore, in the field of elastography, it is necessary to invent algorithms with high-speed processing capabilities and high accuracy at the same time. very necessary

Embodiment Construction

[0019] In the following description, ultrasonic images acquired under quasi-static compression will be used, but the present invention can be applied to other various types of images as well as other types of disturbances.

[0020] In particular the invention relates to a new method of displacement estimation using ultrasonic radio frequency signals and a new method for obtaining deformation after this displacement estimation. Taking two consecutive radio frequency frames (images) as an example, first, a rough displacement distribution is calculated using a robust matching algorithm, such as the Block Matching Algorithm (BMA for short), and then one of the frames is aligned according to the result of displacement estimation. (assuming that the first radio frequency frame is selected) to generate a new frame by performing adjustment, the adjustment is usually stretching, for example. Since the adjusted first radio frequency frame has a better correlation with the second radio f...

Abstract

The invention relates to a two-dimension displacement estimation method of elasticity imaging, which comprises the following steps: carrying out two-dimension initial displacement estimation on a first radio frequency frame and a second radio frequency frame of an ultrasonic pattern to be treated by a matching algorithm with robustness; using the obtained two-dimension initial displacement estimation to adjust the image of the first radio frequency frame to cause that the relativity between the regulated first frame and the original second frame is higher compared with the original first frame; and carrying out the displacement estimation on the original second frame and the regulated first frame by a sub-pixel displacement estimation algorithm; synthesizing the obtained two-dimension initial displacement estimation result with the displacement estimation result obtained by the sub-pixel displacement estimation algorithm and obtaining the total two-dimension displacement estimation. The two-dimension displacement estimation method of elasticity imaging adopts an initial estimation step which is rough but robust and a fine searching step which is accurate but needs the image with higher relativity so as to simultaneously achieve high speed and accuracy.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an ultrasonic elastography technique, in particular to a two-dimensional displacement estimation method in the elastography. Background technique [0002] Elastography is a technique for obtaining elastic comparisons of tissues or materials (medium) by comparing images from the medium under certain stresses. The images may be acquired by any known modality including, but not limited to, ultrasound, optical, X-ray, and MRI images, among others. These images can be taken in longitudinal or transverse cross-sections of the surface or by projection. At the same time, stress can also exist in various forms, including quasi-static compression, tension and shear, multi-directional vibration, osmotic pressure, and so on. These stress effects can come from external sources or internal sources such as tissue movement caused by heartbeat or respiration. In the following description, ultrasound images acquired under quasi-static compres...
