Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for supporting MBMS business content synchronization based on an integrated EPS. The method comprises the following steps: after a BM-SC (Broadcast Multicast Service Center) receives MBMS user data, writing in the time stamp of the MBMS user data sent by an original empty port and a differential time stamp which corresponds to multi-hop time delay through which an access gateway and terminal access point equipment pass into the synchronous protocol encapsulation data header of the MBMS user data; sending the MBMS user data with synchronous protocol encapsulation to the access gateway; after the access gateway receives the MBMS user data, working out the time for sending the MBMS user data to the empty port according to the original time stamp of the MBMS user data sent by the empty port and the differential time stamp which corresponds to the multi-hop time delay, which are carried in the MBMS user data, to complete the encapsulation of the MBMS user data; and sending the MBMS user data to the empty port at the worked out time. The invention enables the MBMS user business data to be transmitted in a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) network, simultaneously ensures the content synchronization of the MBMS user business data and can not cause additional changes and influences on the original content synchronization scheme in the network.
