When the website of a catering commercial tenant is visited, the booking client side program automatically runs; the seat information receiving terminal receives the information transmitted by each seat information transmitting terminal; the booking server side program and the booking client side program carry out two-way communication, and query or update records in the database; and the database records the number of each dining table, accommodating capacity, current use condition and booking condition. The invention also discloses a realization method of the online booking system.
