Abstract

A tongue-lid package (2) includes a case (4) formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and having an open end (12) at the upper end thereof, a lid (5), the lid (5) being a tongue lid (6) pivotably connected to the rear edge of the open end (12) via a lid hinge (26) and opening and closing the open end (12), and a tongue (7) connected to the front end of the lid (5) via a tongue hinge (28). The tongue (7) has a tongue lid superposed on a front wall (14) of the case (4) when the lid (5) is at a closed position, and also has an inner holder (10) contained in the case (4) and having a recess (10a) for holding contents. The case (4), the tongue lid (6), and the inner holder (10) are constructed from a transparent or semi-transparent material. The recess (10a) is separated from a bottom wall (20) and side walls (18) of the case (4).
