A process for antiglare film production which comprises: a step in which a coating fluid for antiglare layer formation and a coating fluid for low-refractive-index layer formation are prepared, the coating fluids each containing an ingredient capable of localizing; a coating step in which the coating fluid for low-refractive-index layer formation and the coating fluid for antiglare layer formation are applied to a support to form an upper coating layer and a lower coating layer, respectively; and a drying step in which the coating layers are dried and caused to undergo phase separation, whereby the ingredients localize and an antiglare layer and a low-refractive-index layer are formed. By the process, an antiglare film which inhibits a display from suffering external-light reflection thereon, glittering, and the whitening caused by irregular reflection can be produced at low cost.
