Abstract

The invention discloses a method for learning and practicing characters on an electronic device. The method comprises the steps of: 1, pre-constructing or generating a standard character font library, wherein the standard character font library comprises information of strokes of characters written according to standard sequences; 2, obtaining a vector curve of input strokes; 3, comparing the similarity of the vector curve and corresponding stoke transect lines in the information of the strokes; 4, judging whether the similarity is in a preset acceptable range, if not, displaying a current standard stoke and a corresponding stroke transect line, if yes, determining that the current written stroke is right; and 5, judging whether the current input stroke is the final stroke, if yes, ending, and if not, continuously executing the step 2.
