Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for automatically switching an interface language of a mobile terminal. The system comprises an SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card judging module, a country code reading module, a language supporting judging module, a prompting module and an execution module, wherein the SIM card judging module is used for judging if an SIM card is inserted into the mobile terminal; the country code reading module is used for reading a corresponding country code from the inserted SIM card and confirming the corresponding language according to the country code; the language supporting judging module is used for judging if the read country code is corresponding to the language supported by a mobile phone; the prompting module is used for prompting a user to switch the language corresponding to the country code or not; and the execution module is used for switching the language of the mobile phone. By using the system, the complex operation of a mobile terminal manufacturer for switching the language of the mobile phone is avoided and the inconvenience that a system menu language cannot be identified when the mobile phone is firstly used by a non-destination user is also avoided; the manufacturing process of the mobile phone is simplified; the cost of the manufacturer is lowered; and a better use experience is supplied to the user.
