Problems solved by technology

[0004] The existing valves used for medium-sized bulk storage containers are generally welded with the liner bag. However, due to the limitation of the welding position of the valve, the valve handle will interfere with the welding electrode, so the handle is generally made detachable. Welding valves When installing the valve, the handle must be removed. When the valve is installed in the medium-sized bulk container, the handle is also disassembled due to the space limitation of the valve opening. When the valve needs to be opened, the handle must be installed and then the valve will be opened and closed. In this way, there is a risk that the handle will be lost and the valve cannot be opened and closed. Furthermore, the assembly of the handle is cumbersome, the efficiency is low, and it takes up manpower.
Or, the handle cannot be disassembled and cannot be folded after being installed on the valve, resulting in a larger space for the valve, a larger packaging volume for the valve, and the valve handle is easily damaged

Embodiment Construction

[0044] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, so as to better understand the purpose, features and advantages of the present invention. It should be understood that the embodiments shown in the drawings are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, but only to illustrate the essence of the technical solutions of the present invention.

[0045] figure 1 A valve for an Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) provided with a collapsible handle assembly according to the present invention is shown. An IBC (not shown) typically has a base, four side panels, a lid, and an inner bladder, which is typically used to hold liquid cargo such as pharmaceutical intermediates, beverage concentrates, food additives and even dangerous Materials etc. A valve is generally provided at the discharge port of the liner, and the valve is usually welded to the liner of the IBC to facilitate the release of...

Abstract

The invention provides a foldable handle assembly, and a valve and a middle-sized bulk container provided with the same. The foldable handle assembly is applied to the valve in the middle-sized bulk container. The valve comprises a valve body, a valve core and a valve rod, wherein the valve rod is used for driving the valve core to move to realize opening and closing of the valve. A handle in the handle assembly is connected to the valve rod and can rotate around a rotation central axis on the valve rod; and when the valve is required to be opened or closed, the handle rotates around the rotation central axis to an unfolded state to open the valve. When the valve is welded on an inner container bag or arranged in the middle-sized bulk container, the handle rotates around the rotation central axis to a folded state to reduce the occupied space of the valve. According to the handle assembly provided by the invention, the handle can be switched between the unfolded state and the folded state; and when the handle is in the folded state, the occupied space of the handle is small, so that the handle does not influence the inner container bag for welding the valve on the middle-sized bulk container. Moreover, the handle is prevented from being damaged easily after being folded.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to intermediate bulk containers, and more particularly to handle assemblies for valves in intermediate bulk containers. Background technique [0002] Intermediate bulk container (IBC) is a type of packaging turnover container widely used in the food, biochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries internationally. Since the IBC container can be reused many times, it has obvious advantages in filling, storage and transportation, and compared with the round drum, the IBC container can save 35% of the storage space, and the size meets the ISO standard. It is not only suitable for aseptic canning, but also has a compact box body, which is convenient for safe and efficient storage of large quantities, so it is widely used in the transportation, packaging and storage of materials in the form of liquids, granules and flakes. [0003] There are three types of existing intermediate bulk containers: 820L, 1000L, and 1250...
