Abstract

The wound dressing comprises a first fiber layer and a second fiber layer, wherein the first fiber layer consists of a plurality of mutually bonded first fibers, the second fiber layer consists of a plurality of mutually bonded second fibers, and the first fibers and the second fibers are made of alginate. The first fibers are parallel and extends in a direction approximately parallel to the first direction, the second fibers are parallel and extends in a direction approximately parallel to the second direction, the first direction is not parallel to the second direction, the second fiber layer is stacked on the first fiber layer, and in addition, the second fibers are bonded with the first fibers.
