Abstract

The invention discloses a positive dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal composition which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 1 to 40 percent of liquid crystal compound shown as a structural formula I, 1 to 40 percent of liquid crystal compound shown as a structural formula II, 1 to 60 percent of liquid crystal compound shown as a structural formula III, 1 to 60 percent of liquid crystal compound shown as a structural formula IV, 0 to 20 percent of liquid crystal compound shown as a structural formula V and 0 to 20 percent of liquid crystal compound shown as a structural formula VI, wherein the sum of the weight percentage of the liquid crystal compounds shown as the structural formulas I, II, III, IV, V and VI is 100 percent; an optical rotation compound in an amount which is 0 to 0.2 percent of the total weight of the liquid crystal composition is also added. The liquid crystal composition has low power consumption, low rotary viscosity and high response speed, and is particularly suitable for manufacturing a thin film transistor-liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) with quick response.
