liquid crystal material and application thereof, the
liquid crystal material takes a structure combining a hetero-five-membered aromatic ring and a
benzene ring as a molecular core skeleton, different types of heteroatoms are introduced into the hetero-five-membered aromatic ring, and adjustable substituents are arranged at the
benzene ring and the molecular terminal, so that the novel
liquid crystal material is obtained. Cooperative regulation and control of molecular rigidity and flexibility, polarization capability and
intermolecular interaction are realized. Through the structural design, the liquid
crystal material disclosed by the invention effectively reduces the rotary
viscosity of molecules and improves the electro-optical response speed while maintaining good
dielectric properties and optical modulation capability, and is beneficial to reducing the driving
voltage of a device, so that the comprehensive optimization of the performance of the liquid
crystal material is realized. The liquid
crystal material is suitable for being used as a liquid crystal working medium or a liquid crystal formula component in a
liquid crystal display device, and is especially suitable for
liquid crystal display application scenes with relatively high requirements on low
power consumption and quick response.
