Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a program relevance method and a set top box. The method is based on the set top box which comprises at least two tuners. The method includes the steps that the set top box locks a frequency point of a program played currently through the first tuner so that normal playing of the program played currently can be maintained; the set top box searches a relative program relative to the program played currently through the second tuner and stores the relative program; an operation interface is generated through the set top box through the second tuner, wherein the operation interface of the second tuner comprises relative information of the relative program; the set top box responds to a check request of a user and triggers a television terminal to display the operation interface of the second tuner so that the user can choose operations of the relative program. According to the program relevance method and the set top box, the program can be searched while a program is played, the user can normally watch the program, and the method is simple and easy to carry out.
