A webpage flow chart editing method comprises the steps of obtaining a webpage file from a database of a server when receiving a webpage access requirement sent by a browser of a user terminal; generating a flow chart editing interface, and sending the webpage file with the flow chart editing interface to a browser; editing the flow chart on the flow chart editing interface according to the operation of the user on the flow chart editing interface through the browser, determining element basic information and connection lines and connection relations among elements, and storing the element basic information and the connection lines and the connection relations among the elements in the database. The invention further provides a webpage flow chart editing system. The flow chart can be edited in real time on the webpage, and the whole flow chart is not required to be transmitted to the server to be stored, so that the server load is reduced.
