Abstract

The invention discloses a secondary circuit configuration controlling method and system for an intelligent substation. The method comprises a present version of SCD (Substation Configuration Description) file is obtained; the present version of SCD file is compared with a prestored last version of SCD file; a configuration update report which includes the IED (Intelligent Electronic Device) update range is generated; and according to the configuration update report, an information comparison report which includes details of configuration information change is generated for each IED requiring configuration update. According to the invention, the configuration update report defines the IED update range, and the information comparison report describes the details of configuration information change of each IED which requires configuration update, thereby effectively helping professional staff of relay protection to safely and efficiently carry out daily maintenance on secondary circuits of the intelligent substations.
