Abstract

The invention discloses a method for planting elymus cylindricus under typical grassland rain-fed conditions. The method comprises the following steps of performing hummel treatment by selecting local wild elymus cylindricus seeds or local elymus cylindricus seeds which are locally introduced and domesticated successfully as elymus cylindricus seeds and sowing the elymus cylindricus seeds; sowing the elymus cylindricus seeds and legume seeds in a mixed manner in the middle ten days or the last ten days of the May or the first ten days of the June of the current year after performing soil preparation on a selected land and applying base fertilizers to the land under the conditions that the sowing quantity of elymus cylindricus is 10.5-24kg/hm2, the sowing quantity of legume is 7.88-15kg/hm2 and the sowing depth is 3-4cm; pressing the land; performing ripping on the land before seedlings emerge and after the land is wetted by rain; and clipping the elymus cylindricus every year from the last ten days of the July of the following year under the condition that the stubble height is greater than or equal to 5cm. The elymus cylindricus can be planted in the large area of typical grassland under the rain-fed condition, and the planting cost is reduced.
