The method comprises the steps that a gas flow value output by the respirator in the transformer is collected in real time; a temperature value and a humidity value output by the transformer are collected in real time; the silica gel performance of the preset respirator is obtained according to the model number corresponding to the transformer; according to the silica gel performance, the preset moisture absorption performance curve of the respirator under the working condition of the gas flow value, the temperature value and the humidity value is obtained; according to the collected gas flow value, the collected temperature value and the collected humidity value, the water content curve of current suction gas of the respirator is drawn; and according to the preset moisture absorption performance curve of the respirator and the current suction gas water content curve of the respirator, the operation working condition of the respirator is determined.
