AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

The present technology allows for better ways to create plants with unique shapes through controlling their growth cycles or growing conditions during winter periods without causing damage from excessive heat exposure. This results in more consistently shaped crops like cherries and citrus fruits.

Problems solved by technology

The problem addressed by this patented technology relates to create an easy-to-use solution that allows memoisty rootlets like meadowfoil to have unique shapes without being too long at their roots. This would allow them to stand up indoor while still looking good when they're used outside but could extend into other areas where they shouldn’t look well.

Embodiment Construction

[0012] The preferred embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below, so that the advantages and features of the present invention can be more easily understood by those skilled in the art, so as to define the protection scope of the present invention more clearly.

[0013] 1. Variety selection

[0014] Use the late-maturing variety Yelan.

[0015] 2. Seedbed preparation

[0016] Choose a greenhouse that is easy to manage as a seedbed. Apply decomposed organic fertilizer and slow-acting compound fertilizer, and evenly pour it into the soil after application to make a deep, loose and breathable seedbed.

[0017] 3. Sowing seedlings

[0018] Sow on September 13. Before planting, water the seedbed thoroughly and sprinkle the seeds evenly, then evenly cover the substrate with a thickness of 0.3 cm, and then pour a small amount of water. Keep at a suitable temperature of 15-20°C, and ventilate after germination.

[0019] 4. Seedling management

Abstract

The invention discloses a potting method for myosotis sylvatica. The method includes steps of sowing and seedling raising, paclobutrazol spraying at a seedling stage, potting, pinching, fertilizer and water management, temperature and light regulating and controlling and the like. According to the potting method for the myosotis sylvatica, by means of hormone regulation and combination with manual pinching, multiple branch development can be facilitated, and compact and attractive plant shape can be maintained. 1-2 month low temperature stage is required for flower bud differentiation of the myosotis sylvatica, for instance, after flower bud differentiation, temperature and light are two main factors which influence flowering of the myosotis sylvatica, flowering of the myosotis sylvatica can be facilitated by the aid of long day and certain temperature, thereby, flower bud differentiation can be achieved in advance through low temperature treatment at the seedling stage, by means of increasing of illumination time and temperature controlling at a later stage, flowering can be achieved early, the number of flowers is increased, flowering time is prolonged, and the myosotis sylvatica can appear on the market at spring festival.
