The phase noise restraining method comprises the following steps of generating a first compensating signal which is a base frequency signal before a digital single is compensated on the basis of a local oscillator signal; and providing the first compensating signal to a digital circuit so that the digital circuit performs adaptive phase noise estimation on the first compensating signal and estimated phase noise is compensated to the digital signal. By the embodiment, data and compensating signals can be processed through an adaptive filter, phase noise compensating signals required for the digital circuit are acquired, so that corresponding compensation is performed in the digital circuit, and phase noise influences on a communication system are eliminated.
