Problems solved by technology

Moreover, in the prior art, in the process of eliminating the influence of phase noise caused by the SPM effect and the XPM effect, the phase compensation factor used for phase compensation is fixed in advance, and when the environment in which the system is located changes, the The phase compensation effect of the above phase compensation factor is poor, which is not enough to eliminate the influence of phase noise caused by the SPM effect and XPM effect

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of optical communications, and in particular relates to a method and device for processing signals. The method is applied to an optical fiber communication system, and used for processing received multiplexing optical signals to eliminate influences of phase noises resulting from self-phase modulation (SPM) effect and cross phase modulation (XPM) effect. The method is mainly used for dynamically regulating a first compensating factor and a second compensating factor of each channel in accordance with the error rate corresponding to each demultiplexed channel, wherein the first compensating factor is used for eliminating the phase noises generated by the SPM effect and the second compensating factor is used for eliminating the phase noises generated by the XPM effect. In the process of eliminating the influences of the phase noises resulting from the SPM effect and the XPM effect, the adjustment control process of the first compensating factor for phase compensation and the second compensating factor for phase compensation of each channel is a closed-loop control process, thereby having good a phase compensation effect. According to the invention, the influences of the phase noises resulting from the SPM effect and the XPM effect can be eliminated effectively, and the transmission performance of the optical fiber communication system can be improved greatly.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of optical communication, in particular to a signal processing method and device. Background technique [0002] With the rapid growth of broadband services, high-speed, ultra-large-capacity optical fiber transmission systems have become the requirements of backbone optical fiber transmission systems. Single-channel 100Gb / s or more fiber optic communication systems and multiplex fiber optic communication systems above Tb / s have become research hotspots. At present, the industry has appeared a variety of multiplexing technology fusion optical fiber communication systems to achieve transmission speeds above Tb / s, such as: wavelength division multiplexing WDM (WavelengthDivision Multiplexing) technology and coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing COOFDM (Coherent Opticalorthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology to build the WDM-COOFDM system; optical band multiplexing technology O...
