Abstract

The invention discloses a model and a method for scheduling for a mixed cloud based on deadline and cost constraints, which aims at solving the problems of low utilization rate of a private cloud and high cost of a public cloud in the scheduling process of the mixed cloud. The method comprises the following steps of proposing two scheduling strategies, namely the deadline priority and cost priority strategies, according to the property and cost targets; establishing a task and resource model of the mixed cloud, adaptively selecting the proper scheduling resource according to the task submitted by a user, firstly scheduling the task with higher requirement on the deadline to the public cloud, and also firstly scheduling the task with higher requirement on the cost to the private cloud, so as to enable the two strategies to meet the deadline and cost constraints. The method has the advantages that the two scheduling strategies can be well performed at the aspects of scheduling completing time, cost, deadline exceeding rate and private cloud utilization rate; especially when the task workload is high, the two scheduling strategies have better self-adaptive property and advantages.
