Abstract

The invention discloses a drawing chalk sharpener. Teachers always need sharpening chalks in order to draw standard lines and width, which cost time of the teachers and is harmful to the teachers' health. Two sliders are arranged by centering, two ends of each slider are supported on polished shafts respectively, the middles of the sliders and a bidirectional screw form a threaded pair, and the inner end of a scale is fixed on one of the sliders, and the outer end extends out of a shell. Both sliders of a width adjusting mechanism are provided with sharpening devices. Each sharpening device comprises a motor, a grinding wheel sharpening head and a rigid coupler. A cantilever shaft bracket and the motors are fixed on the sliders by screws. A power supply device controls start and stop of the motors, the motors drive the grinding wheel sharpening heads, and support shafts at the ends of the grinding wheel sharpening heads are supported on the cantilever shaft bracket by rolling bearings, and the grinding wheel sharpening heads of the two sharpening devices are centered. The drawing chalk sharpener is adjustable and capable of sharpening different widths of chalks, and mechanical sharpening of drawing chalks for class teaching is realized.
