The fingerprint lock system comprises a mobile terminal, a fingerprint lock and a mechanical lock; the mobile terminal is in wireless connection with the fingerprint lock, and the fingerprint lock is in electric connection with the mechanical lock; the mobile terminal comprises an acquisition module for acquiring fingerprint information, and a sending module for sending the fingerprint information; the fingerprint lock comprises a receiving module, a storage module, a comparison and determination module and a control module, the receiving module is used for receiving the fingerprint information; the storage module is used for pre-storing standard fingerprint information; the comparison and determination module is used for comparing the fingerprint information with the standard fingerprint information and determining whether the fingerprint information is consistent with the standard fingerprint information or not; and when the comparison and determination module determines that the fingerprint information is consistent with the standard fingerprint information, the control module controls the mechanical lock to unlock or lock. The fingerprint acquisition module and the fingerprint lock are separately arranged to make fingerprint information of users difficultly leaked, so the stolen phenomenon of fingerprints is avoided, and fingerprint identification equipment can be safely used by the users.
