The invention relates to a junction box capable of preventing overheating and damp for a waste nitrogen electric heater, including: a junction box casing, the ends of the junction boxing casing respectively provided with a cooling shielding gas inlet joint pipe and a cooling shielding gas outlet joint pipe. The junction box also is provided therein an anti-condensing system which includes an anti-condensing electric heater, a temperature detector and a temperature controller, the anti-condensing electric heater fixedly connected to the inner wall of the junction box casing and keeping a distance with the inner wall, the temperature detector and the temperature controller mounted on the inner wall of the junction box casing and far from the anti-condensing electric heater, the temperature controller in individual electrical connection with the anti-condensing electric heater and the temperature detector. The junction box herein increases stability of the waste nitrogen electric heater such that the waster nitrogen electric heater is enabled to work under circumstances when the temperature of the waste nitrogen gas to be heated is too high and the damp in the surroundings is too high, and thus expands use coverage of the waste nitrogen electric heater.
