Abstract

A medium voltage solid insulated switch (10) and a driving device are provided. The switch comprises an insulating body (11), a switching element (12), a current sensor (13) and a pull rod (14). The current sensor is embedded at a position inside the insulating body and close to a current-carrying conductor (17). The current sensor is extendedly connected with coil (131), which is embedded in the insulating body and is orthogonal to the current-carrying conductor. The driving device comprises two actuators (20) and a linkage for linking an armature (201) of each actuator. The pull rod of the medium voltage solid insulated switch is connected with the linkage. The two actuators are connected in series and are mechanically connected. The current sensor can detect the current flowing through the insulating body and the switching element, and has a substantial advantage over the prior art. The invention can also be used to monitor the operation state of a grid and to present reliable grid operation data. The device that mechanically drives the medium voltage solid insulated switch drives the switching element of the medium voltage solid insulated switch via an efficient direct current electromagnetic mechanism. The switch mechanism uses direct current electromagnetic actuators to operate, and is optionally provided with quick manual opening and closing functions, in which the quick manual closing operation function is unique among this type of switch. And after the manual operation, the mechanism can use the current in the main loop for automatic energy storage.
