Abstract

The invention relates to an intermediate-voltage solid insulation switch and a purpose and mechanical drive device thereof. The intermediate-voltage solid insulation switch can monitor the voltage at two positions, and can be formed by single casting technology. A current sensor can detect the current through an insulation body and a switching component. The intermediate-voltage solid insulation switch has advantages compared with the prior art. The intermediate-voltage solid insulation switch can be used to monitor the operation state of the electrical network and reflect reliable operation data of the electrical network. The mechanical drive device of the intermediate-voltage solid insulation switch drives the switching component of the switch via a high-efficiency DC electromagnetic mechanism. The mechanical drive device uses a switching mechanism which is operated by DC electromagnetic exciters, and has a manual rapid opening / closing function selectively, and the manual rapid opening / closing function is unique in such switches.
