The apparatus comprises a heartbeat component and a watchdog module, wherein the heartbeat component is used for performing a write operation on the watchdog module at a predetermined time interval; the watchdog module is used for triggering an operation of re-booting a system when the write operation is not performed within a preset period; and the predetermined time interval is shorter than or equal to the preset period.
