Abstract

The data packet processing apparatus provided by an embodiment of the present invention is located in a VAS processing network, and comprises a transceiver module used for receiving a first data packet; and a processing module used for determining, according to load conditions of VAS instances corresponding to each VAS type on a service chain that the first data packet passes through, a service path that the first data packet passes through, wherein the transceiver module sends the first data packet carrying a service path identifier to a data packet routing apparatus in the network, and instructs the data packet routing apparatus to route the first data packet according to the service path identified by the service path identifier.
