Abstract

The invention relates to an image-processing-based evaluation method for a scar treatment effect. The method comprises: (1), a scar image before treatment, a scar image after treatment, and a image of an abnormal skin adjacent to the mark before treatment of a patient are obtained; (2), pretreatment is carried out on the obtained images respectively to obtain a scar RGB image before treatment, a scar RGB image after treatment, and a normal skin RGB image; (3), the scar RGB image before treatment and the scar RGB image after treatment after the pretreatment are registered to obtain a registered scar RGB image after treatment; (4), calculation is carried out to obtain that mutual information between the scar RGB image before treatment and the normal skin RGB image is I(A,B) and that mutual information between the registered scar RGB image after treatment and the normal skin RGB image is I (C,B); and (5), whether the I (C,B) is larger than I(A,B) is determined; if so, the treatment effect is good; and otherwise, the treatment effect is poor. Compared with the prior art, the method has advantages of reliable evaluation result, high repeatability, and high practicability and the like.
