The invention discloses a method of reducing oil jetty main channel passage costs, characterized by comprising the steps of: S01, selecting a plurality of avoidance area positions meeting conditions and establishing a plurality of avoidance area site selection schemes, including a site selection scheme of not building out avoidance areas, i.e., a scheme of departing from port along a main channel; S02, respectively establishing simulation models for site selection schemes, and outputting time parameters; and S03, through outputting the time parameters, performing economic analysis on each site selection scheme, calculating the comprehensive passage cost C of each site selection scheme, and selecting a site selection scheme of lowest comprehensive passage cost C. The method determines the comprehensive passage cost of each avoidance area site selection scheme through the simulation models and economic analysis, and selects a scheme of lowest comprehensive passage cost as an optimal scheme so as to reduce ship passage costs as much as possible, and improve crude oil harbour district channel passage capabilities.
