Abstract

Method for providing virtual light and a processing system thereof are provided. The method includes: implementing a virtual light source on a mobile device; receiving a user input, wherein the user input instructs the mobile device to capture 2D output images of current views of a plurality of device sensors in real time; receiving a plurality of sensor outputs, wherein the plurality of sensor outputs are generated by using the plurality of device sensors to sense information from the current views, and the plurality of sensor outputs include initial 2D frames sensed by one or more of the plurality of device sensors; and responding to reception of the plurality of sensor outputs and the user input, generating a 2D output image on the mobile device according to regulation on the virtual light source and the initial 2D frames, wherein generation of the 2D output image is real time relative to reception of the plurality of sensor outputs. In the embodiment of the invention, the virtual light source is used to replace a flash lamp, the brightness of images captured by the mobile device is improved, and the images are not blurred due to movement or shake.
