Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a mobile terminal and a method for shooting by use of the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal comprises at least two cameras; the method comprises the following steps: turning on a first camera and a second camera; acquiring depth of field information of a shot object in a camera aperture; judging whether mobile information of the shot object is less than a preset amplitude threshold; turning off the second camera when the mobile information is less than the preset amplitude threshold; and shooting an image by use of the first camera. Through the adoption of the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the second camera is adjusted by using of multiple shooting parameters so as to effectively determine the depth of field information; and meanwhile, a user can be prevented from shaking under some conditions to influence the shooting effect, the shooting effect and the picture quality are improved, and the user experience is enhanced; finally, the second camera is turned off after determining the depth of field information or determining that the object is not moved, the first camera is used for shooting, the power consumption is reduced, and the energy source is saved.
