If the fertilizer is applied on a sunny day, spray water to the ridges so that the water brings the fertilizer down to the soil without causing over amount of ammonia gas volatilization and preventing waste; 2-3 months later, weeding the Chinese yam again and applying a layer of the mixture of night soil and lime and then milling; in October, harvesting the Chinese yam after maturation.
