The optimized date tree top grafting method comprises the steps of (1) collection of scions, (2) treatment and storage of the scions, (3) selection and treatment of stocks, (4) wax-sealed grafting of the treated scions in the step (2) onto the treated stocks in the step (3), and (5) post-grafting treatment, wherein the grafting process is in a drilled grafting mode, and the post-grafting treatment comprises survival examination and unwanted sprout removal.
