According to one embodiment of the invention, the vehicle-mounted ethernet network comprises a display module, an audio module, a communication module, a central server, and a transmission medium connecting network nodes. Data are sent between two network nodes as follows: the network node as a data sending terminal determines a type of sent data, wherein the types include a control data type, a video / audio stream type and a normal data type; the network node as the data sending terminal sends the data to the network node serving as a data receiving terminal by the transmission medium based on a protocol associated with the determined type; and for the control data, the network node serving as the data receiving terminal returns a receiving state message to the etwork node as the data sending terminal through the transmission medium.
