Abstract

The invention discloses a plant leaf inclination angle calculation method based on three-dimensional point cloud data. According to the method, scanning of an environment simulating the growing state of plant leaves is realized through a Kinect sensor, and three-dimensional reconstruction of the plant leaves is realized through a series of processes of filtering, partitioning, registration and surface reconstruction algorithms. For reconstructed three-dimensional leaves, an OBB algorithm is proposed to establish a minimum circumscribed cuboid for the reconstructed plant leaves, then a normal vector of the minimum circumscribed cuboid is calculated, and finally an included angle, namely a leaf inclination angle, between the normal vector and a normal vector perpendicular to the ground is solved. Different from a traditional leaf inclination angle manual measurement process, the method is high in automation degree, and manual measurement time is greatly saved.
