The method can include the following steps: acquiring N (a natural number greater than or equal to 1) frames of audio data of a target audio; extracting audio feature parameters of each frame of audio data in the N frames of audio data; mapping the N frames of audio data to K (a natural number greater than or equal to 1) clusters according to the audio feature parameters to form a K-dimension feature vector; and calculating the similarity between the target audio and M(a natural number greater than or equal to 2) preset categories of audio based on the K-dimension feature vector, and determining the category of which the similarity with the target audio meets a preset condition as the category of the target audio.
