The method comprises steps: when the mobile terminal is in a charging state, the real-time temperature of the mobile terminal is detected; if the real-time temperature is detected to be lower than a preset temperature threshold, based on the real-time temperature, the quantity of unit tasks currently operated by the mobile terminalis adjusted to control the charging current of the mobile terminal. The invention also discloses a corresponding mobile terminal and a computer readable storage medium. The above mode is adopted to adjust the temperature of the mobile terminal itself, power consumption of a battery and the operation performance of the terminal are not influenced, the battery can also be adjusted to the preset temperature for being charged in a low temperature environment, and thus, good charging performance can be achieved, and the normal use by a user is ensured.
