Abstract

The invention provides a method for providing a virtual reality video on a television, the television, and a system. The method comprises the following steps: playing a television program; storing theplayed television program; receiving a first preset operation; responding to the first preset operation, and acquiring a screenshot picture of the television program played at a moment at which the first preset operation is received; sending the acquired screenshot picture to portable electronic equipment connected with the television; and when an acquisition route for the virtual reality video of a target in the screenshot picture is received from the portable electronic equipment, inserting an identifier indicating the acquisition route for the virtual reality video at a time point of the stored television program corresponding to the moment at which the first preset operation is received. The method for providing the virtual reality video on the television, the television and the system provided by the exemplary embodiment of the invention have the advantages that the television program content searching accuracy can be effectively improved, and searching steps can be simplified.
