The virus protection method comprises the steps of setting a management server; setting a plurality ofdistributed servers, wherein the distributed servers obtain the updating of the virus protection data from the management server; setting a plurality of updating ports; using the management server todivide a plurality of terminal servers into the multiple system tree sets of a system tree respectively according to the marks or IP sections of the plurality of terminal servers, and using the management server to divide a plurality of clients into the multiple system tree sets of the system tree respectively via a synchronization domain controller; using the terminal servers and the clients inat least one system tree set to obtain the updating of the virus protection data from the distributed servers via the updating ports, thereby preventing the virus. According to the present invention,by dividing the system tree, a part of system tree sets obtain the updating of the virus protection data via the distributed servers, thereby effectively diverting the high concurrent processing amount, and realizing the online virus protection of the stable, reliable and lightweight management.
