The method comprises the following steps: determining that the duration in watching the display screen of auser achieves a first threshold value; acquiring the type of the application to which an interface currently displayed by the display screen belongs, and acquiring the illuminance of the environmentin which the display screen is located currently; according to the preset mapping relation between the adjusting mode of the display screen, the watching duration, the type of the application, and theillumination of the environment, determining the first adjusting mode of the display screen corresponding to the first threshold value, the type of the application to which the interface currently displayed belongs and the illuminance of the environment in which the display screen is located currently, wherein the first adjusting mode of the display screen is used for adjusting the parameters ofthe display screen, so that the visual fatigue of the user caused by watching the display screen continuously is alleviated; and adjusting the display screen according to the first adjusting mode of the display screen.
