Benefits of technology

This patented inventor describes an improved method for preparing a tampon that contains drugs like toremifene (TMP). By utilizing this new type of backed sheet made from soft wires instead of traditional paper materials, these methods have better support properties, extend ability, conformable shape, easy handling, less odour during usage, reduced risk of allergies, longer shelf life, ease of manufacture, safety concerns associated therewith, minimal environmental impact, lower costs compared to current techniques used on other types of medicine packaging.

Problems solved by technology

This patents discuss various methods used to treat breast cancer patients but they all suffer from limitations such as lack of absorption due to poor aqueology properties (water), difficulty delivering medicines safely over large areas like breasts, potential harmful side effects associated with current delivery systems including injection site pain caused by injectable agents, reduced patient compliance during prescribed regimens, and increased safety concerns related to administering these substances themselves.

Embodiment 1

[0029] Embodiment 1 Solubility test of tamoxifen in different media

[0030] Add excess tamoxifen to the 10 media shown in Table 1, stir and sonicate for 30 minutes, shake in a constant temperature oscillator for 24 hours, take 1ml of the supernatant and put it in a test tube, and centrifuge at 10000r / min for 10min , accurately draw the supernatant and dilute it with mobile phase to measure by HPLC; It has the highest solubility in medium, followed by eucalyptus oil, propylene glycol, and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether.

Embodiment 2

[0033] Example 2 Effect test of solubilizer on the solubility of tamoxifen in water-glycerin (ratio 50 / 50)

[0034] In a mixed solution composed of 28 parts of glycerin, 28 parts of water and 15 parts of different solubilizers (as shown in Table 2), add excess tamoxifen respectively, stir and sonicate for 30 minutes, place in a constant temperature oscillator and vibrate for 24 hours, Take 1ml of the supernatant into a test tube, centrifuge at 10,000r / min for 10min at high speed, draw the supernatant precisely, dilute it with mobile phase to an appropriate multiple, and perform HPLC determination. The results show (as shown in Table 2) that in water-glycerol (50 / 50) in the mixed system using diethylene glycol monoethyl ether as a solubilizer has the best effect.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of pharmaceutic preparations, and relates to tamoxifen gel paste and a preparation method thereof. The invention provides the tamoxifen gel paste. The tamoxifen gel paste is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: tamoxifen, solubilizers, a crosslinking type polymer, a crosslinking agent, a crosslinking adjuster and carbomer. By adding the carbomer, the problem of forming of a gel paste matrix is effectively improved; by adding the eucalyptus oil and the diethylene glycol monoethyl ether which are the solubilizers, the solubilityof the tamoxifen in the gel paste matrix is obviously improved, and the problem of drug precipitation is solved. The tamoxifen gel paste prepared through the preparation method disclosed by the invention is stably formed and intact in appearance, has the advantages of high adhesive capacity, high percutaneous penetration rate, no allergenicity, no irritation, convenience in use, no pollution to clothes, low production cost and the like, and can be repeatedly torn down and pasted on.
