Abstract

The invention discloses a deep learning-based detection method and device of safety-helmet wearing in a video. The method comprises: taking M pictures from collected video data; labeling N pictures inthe M pictures, and labeling the M pictures to obtain pedestrian positive-sample data, pedestrian negative-sample data, safety-helmet positive-sample data and safety-helmet negative-sample data; using the pedestrian positive-sample data and the pedestrian negative-sample data to train a pedestrian detection network, and using the safety-helmet positive-sample data and the safety-helmet negative-sample data to train a safety-helmet detection network; training a to-be-detected image, and obtaining a to-be-detected area through a background difference method; inputting the to-be-detected area tothe trained pedestrian detection network to judge whether a pedestrian exists in the to-be-detected area; if yes, executing an operation of inputting a preset area in the to-be-detected area, where the pedestrian exists, into the trained safety-helmet detection network for detection; and issuing an alarm if the pedestrian is not detected. By applying the embodiment of the invention, detection efficiency can be improved.
