Abstract

The invention relates to a method for detecting piston displacement through utilizing strain gauges. A blade spring, the strain gauges, a strain bridge box and a strain data acquisition instrument arecomprised, wherein the strain gauges are pasted on a vortex arm of the blade spring, and a strain gauge signal wire is connected with the strain bridge box and is connected with the strain data acquisition instrument. When a piston of a linear compressor has certain displacement, the blade spring generates certain deformation, after deformation is sensed by the strain gauges, resistance changes,a deformation signal is converted into an electrical signal, the electrical signal is transmitted to the strain data acquisition instrument through a signal wire, a display signal curve is monitored through a computer, and displacement data is further recorded. The method is advantaged in that a one-side two-strain gauge and two-side two-or-four-strain gauge pasting mode is employed, the pasting position of the strain gauges can be a tail portion of the vortex arm of the blade spring, no extra space is occupied, cost is low, operation is simple, sensitivity is high, and linearity of the generated displacement data is good.
