Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for transferring electronic coupons, which relate to the technical field of computers. One embodiment of the method for transferring electronic coupons ofthe present invention includes: receiving a transfer request of an electronic coupon from a user, wherein the electronic coupon has a transferable attribute, and the transfer request includes a request type and ownership information of the electronic coupon; performing a corresponding transfer operation on the electronic coupon according to the request type; and when the transfer operation is completed, changing the ownership information of the electronic coupon. The embodiment can realize the electronic coupon transfer based on a user system in a system without relying on the current social software, and meanwhile ensures the transfer security of virtual assets.
