Abstract

The invention provides an augmented reality (AR) navigation method and electronic equipment. The AR navigation method comprises the steps that first position information of the current navigation position and second position information of a destination are obtained, a camera shooting unit of the electronic equipment is utilized to collect real road condition images corresponding to the real roadcondition of the current navigation position and display one or more navigation objects matched with the real road condition, wherein based on the first position information and the second position information, the one or more navigation objects are matched with the real road condition to move, so that the one or more navigation objects are guided to reach the destination. According to the AR navigation method and the electronic equipment, compared with the mode that a directivity navigation prompt (such as arrows) is given for navigation in the prior art, the mode of utilizing the navigationobjects for navigation is more vivid and visualizing; and due to the fact that during navigation, the real road condition is further combined to be considered, the navigation objects are matched withthe real road condition to move, and thus the navigation quality and the navigation safety can further be improved undoubtedly.
